Action for Child Social and Economic Transformation (ACSET)

Action for Child Social and Economic Transformation (ACSET) is a grassroot organization working directly with rural poor households in Northern Uganda, an area that suffered for over 20 years rebel activities. ACSET is directly supporting communities to come out of poverty and to fighting climate change by promoting Solar Energy use as a good alternative for sustainable energy. ACSET has so far trained 90 young people to become solar technicians, working with private sector, with local government, with cultural leaders and churches to get climate change actions rooted at the grassroot level.
